For our trailer we have to choose a distributing company to produce our film. For this, we thought it would be essential to look at other social realism films, and decide referring to which they used. Here are the ones we looked at:
After this research we discovered that a lot of Social Realism films use IFC as their producers, so we decided to use that as well.
IFC is appropriate for our genre as they focus on independent production companies producing low budget films. This suits our piece as, as a student group we are a low budget independent company.
