We have named our production company Focus Studios, we decided on this whilst discussing the idea of using a name which depicted an aspect of media terminology and technology. We liked the idea of focus as it has the other semantic meaning of accuracy and control as well as attention to detail. We felt this was an effective name for our production company.
This is the logo we have chosen for our production company. We wanted to choose something that was simple, so used the black and white colours, and also wanted to involve the concept of the word 'Focus' so made the letters grow bigger and then smaller again.
Our company would function generally as a social realism production company, this is due to it being a small, independent company which creates films through personal funding and any support, rather than working with large budgets to make increased profits. The aim of our company is to create 'real life' media for the general public to relate with and enjoy.
